Beaujolais Nouveau CelebrationNovember 15, 2007 Washington, D.C.’s only official Beaujolais Nouveau celebration lived up to its reputation as being the event to attend for this annual welcoming of a wine that has become a worldwide phenomenon. The French-American Chamber of Commerce’s fun evening of wine and gourmet food attracted 400 guests to the French Embassy to taste seven different Beaujolais wines, food from six of Washington, D.C.’s top chefs, plus a wide selection of breads, spreads, desserts and chocolates. |
